Many thanks go to Lynxter Bobby Tribble, who graciously provided to me the name of the artist responsible for the awesome cover art for Todd’s Adventures in Slime World: prolific artist Mitch O’Connell.

I was able to contact Mitch to confirm that it was his artwork (it is) and to ask if he was aware of artwork that he might have created for any other Atari Lynx games back in the Ferg. He was unaware of any other titles, although he did confirm that he had created final carton cover art for the Atari 7800 games Ikari Warriors and Basketbrawl. Interestingly, the cover artwork used for the Atari Lynx port of Basketbrawl is not Mitch’s.

Mitch O’Connell is a highly regarded artist and cartoonist whose colorful work is instantly recognizable. I would recommend for all Lynxters to check out his fantastic art at his blogpage here.
